TEST DRIVE + FOURTH WALL

Welcome to Veritati!

We will be hosting a Test Drive/Fourth Wall that will be incorporated into our mid-month event on the 15th. Any friends of our current players are free to participate, even if the player's +1s has been used as we will be nulling the referral limit for the rest of July and first two weeks of August.

This event will be held until the 31st and will be using a 2:1 for OOC:IC days. Therefore, when the event is finished on June 31, it will actually be July 24 in the game. In August, we will return to 1:1.

Please use this post to introduce yourself and whatever characters you'd like to bring to the Test Drive/Fourth Wall. Even if you do not post character form, please at least fill out this brief form as we will need to know who will be joining and can have brief access to the comms as this is a private game. There will be two types of characters for Veritati so please read the following to determine which group you want your new character to fall under:

OU CHARACTERS

⬥ These characters will be brought in as if they have just been accepted into the game.

⬥ Please ensure that you read the FAQ for details on your character's arrival.

⬥ All characters will be allowed to keep one canon power rather than being completely nerfed.

⬥ All characters must follow the same appable rules that players are restricted to: no duplicates, no AUs asides from canon AUs or CRAU, and no crack characters.

⬥ If players choose to app their characters, they may keep their memories from the Test Drive/Fourth Wall. Canon powers, however, will be nerfed and must be regained. Players may also use any threads during this event as bonus activity if they plan to app their character during or the month after the event.

AU CHARACTERS

⬥ These characters will be AU'ed into the setting as if they've lived in this version of Earth for their entire lives. More details can be found on the FAQ.

⬥ You may either choose to go full AU or half-AU in which your character has memories of living in this world, but will start remembering things from their canon life. Memory regains do not require mod approval, so you may immediately begin with your character knowing details of their canon.

⬥ Both versions of AU characters would have been NPCs prior to their "awakening" so they will notice strange changes that happened in the city that they previously never gave a second thought to. These changes include new buildings, the surrounding city forest, the red-light district, and the beach.

⬥ All characters must follow the same appable rules that players are restricted to: no duplicates, no AUs asides from canon AUs or CRAU, and no crack characters.
