    This is the game's official interest check for mod-invited players to comment and express their desire to play in the game once it opens. This also doubles as an AU workshop and pre-plotting post. Please use this post to introduce yourself and the potential characters that you would like to play.

    Name: Noah Ebalon
    Canon: Elsword

    Blurb: Second heir to one of the six elemental priest families from a fantasy world. He had an older brother Harque who cared for him a lot. The Ebalon family had hereditary talent in moon magic (healing power) and darkness magic (offensive magic). Harque inherited the former, while Noah inherited the latter. However, being an El Master requires one person to be able to master both, and neither of the siblings were able to use both types of magic. In the end Harque was able to overcome this problem by learning time magic, which gave him enough qualifications to be appointed for the role. Unfortunately he was then murdered by some cultists and Noah himself was subjected to experimentation before being put into a deep sleep in some time ruins. He woke up 500 years later, having lost his brother and all that is familiar to him, and tries to carry on his brother's legacy in wielding moon magic even at great cost to his lifespan.

    Also time loops are involved. All his friends are dead. Yeah Elsword is fucked up.

    Plans: I WANT TO GIVE NOAH FRIENDS... and some semblance of a normal life because this boy's canon life is too horrible.

    AU Name: Noah Ebalon

    AU Blurb: Noah would be a lot more functional if he had a proper upbringing instead of being trapped in his family manor while his parents plotted how to use their children to advance their societal prestige. He's still mild-mannered and polite like his canon counterpart, but with much less trauma and more snark. He will actually go to school this time, have normal interests, attend clubs, etc.

    AU Plans:
    ➛ Second heir to the Ebalon family, a prestigious and suspiciously rich group of merchants. That means Noah is a bocchan.
    ➛ Unfortunately... his brother Harque went missing on an overseas business trip. While Noah still believes that Harque is alive, his parents have accepted that he has demised and have begun training Noah to be successor in place of his brother.
    ➛ He will be aged up a bit so he's now 18 years old and starting university.
    ➛ Noah inherited a genetic disease from his elitist family, which makes him physically weak and gives him silver/white hair.
    ➛ He also wears glasses/contacts due to reading too much books.
    ➛ It would be cute if he had admirers... or that he has a nerd crush on someone idk???? an NPC?????
    ➛ I want him to regain his healing powers, which will once again be cast from HP like canon.

    Pre-established CR: FRIENDS... adults to mentor him I guess. Or fellow kids to drag him into fun stuff otherwise he's gonna be studying all day. Hit me with anything and I'll roll with it tbh.

    Blurb: Rom is an AI that was built to terrorize people. He's clingy with his twin brother, Rem, and is very childish and bent on revenge tenfold whenever someone wrongs him. The twins led a bonafide cult of real people as time passed. They had power and it spiraled out of control. All he wanted was for his creator to love him and his brother, so there was this unhealthy stuff going on. Fun.

    AU Blurb: 18-year old gremlin boy fresh out of high school. Loves anything that has a definite answer, which makes him great at math and some areas of science in school, and with computers. Has artistic creativity levels of a dying worm. He's going to university on a scholarship, despite him being a troublemaker. Likes video games (games in general) and scary stories. More used to people being harsh with him rather than nice. Has a vulgar mouth. Delinquent with good grades. Will do anything for his family. You harm any of them in any way and he'll make you regret it. He's also blacklisted from the Amazon-equivalent in this place.

    AU Plans: I just want him to start remembering his life as an AI and have an existential crisis because his AU life is much more better... or at least it was--happiness in ignorance. It'll be a fun perspective/development that I never tried out with him before.
    Pre-established CR: Not looking for anything specific, but people who went to high school with him would have known him as That Guy who even the disciplinary committee couldn't get their hands on. If you also play online games, they could know each other that way too. Someone he pranked... He could prank anyone, whether you're a child or an adult. He has no limits on that.

    Blurb:
    Akira comes from a future dystopian post-war setting where he was raised in a military run orphanage, was experimented on as a child, and years later was wrongfully convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. He makes a deal to get out, then there's a lot of fighting, drugs, and romance~. At the end of the route I'm going with for canon point, he's a photographer traveling the world with his journalist boyfriend.

    He's very emotionally distant and disengaged, to the point where he doesn't recognize the tiny amount of feelings he does experience and can't understand why people get excited over anything at all. It took him five years to learn how to smile. He's hard to hold a conversation with and doesn't talk a lot. Generally stoic and asocial, he's impolite and snappy sometimes, and kind of quietly recalcitrant. He can be frigid initially, and there won't be much of a quick thaw; a negative cr magnet as far as first impressions go.

    (RNGed from a list of common Japanese surnames and picked the top American boys' name for the AU birth year. This is what I got.)

    AU Blurb:
    "Mike" was born in Vitae to lower-class parents. His mother just up and left when he was four years old, and he grew up with only his father around. Said father, we will call him Brian, worked long shifts at the convenience store and supplemented his income selling marijuana in the parking lot, which he grew at home in plastic buckets. His illegal activities progressed and resulted in several arrests. He was in and out of jail, and during those times, Mike stayed in the assisted living apartments, which irritated him greatly. Thus, he got emancipated at 16 and dropped out of school shortly after. He had a string of odd jobs and very temporary employment where he'd quit the majority of attempts at work once socialising became too much.

    He's currently 24, lives in a shitty apartment by the occult shop, and works for a janitorial company. He cleans floors at night for several buildings like the supermarket, business center, the bank, and various stores in the mall. He's rarely seen during the day, usually sleeping or loitering around the downtown area; hangs out in the convenience store parking lot to smoke (cigarettes) sometimes and go through a few scratch offs. He carries around a 35mm camera and takes weird "artistic" photos of shit like sad weeds growing out of the sidewalk, and develops them in his tiny bathroom and never shows them to anyone.

    His personality's basically the same, and I guess his hair is brown and not grey now. That's about it.
