AU Plans:
- Niko was born to a French mother and a Japanese father. It is rumoured that her mother only came to Vitae to have Niko and ditch at the first opportunity that arose while it's unknown who her father is
- Shortly after Niko turned four, she became sick and her mother dropped her off at the hospital before immediately disappearing. She does not have any other family members
- Niko suffered from an unknown disease that prevented her from leaving the hospital, forcing her to undergo many different types of tests and medications to potentially find what was wrong and what could help. She was unable to attend school as a result of being contained in her room and did not have any friends for many long years.

Nier really likes the ocean and music that occasionally comes from the tavern. It's a shame his artistic skill is somewhat questionable at best. He's kind of an odd guy in general but he's friendly when he wants to be.
Plus, he's got an obsession with this thing called revenge and it's what ends up becoming his main driving force.
Plans: please let him eat proper food and show him what it's like to have a good time.

Blurb: Second heir to one of the six elemental priest families from a fantasy world. He had an older brother Harque who cared for him a lot. The Ebalon family had hereditary talent in moon magic (healing power) and darkness magic (offensive magic). Harque inherited the former, while Noah inherited the latter. However, being an El Master requires one person to be able to master both, and neither of the siblings were able to use both types of magic. In the end Harque was able to overcome this problem by learning time magic, which gave him enough qualifications to be appointed for the role. Unfortunately he was then murdered by some cultists and Noah himself was subjected to experimentation before being put into a deep sleep in some time ruins. He woke up 500 years later, having lost his brother and all that is familiar to him, and tries to carry on his brother's legacy in wielding moon magic even at great cost to his lifespan.
Also time loops are involved. All his friends are dead. Yeah Elsword is fucked up.
Plans: I WANT TO GIVE NOAH FRIENDS... and some semblance of a normal life because this boy's canon life is too horrible.

AU Name: Yuya Sakaki
AU Blurb: The Sakakis have been a fairly established family in Vitae since Yuya's great-grandmother immigrated. She carved a place for herself among the other Japanese immigrants as an entertainer and socialite, and opened a teahouse (name forthcoming) that quickly gained popularity with tourists and locals alike for the drink, decor, and hosting. It's less of a daily hangout and more of a special occasion kind of place, and almost exclusively serves the teas made at the ryokan.
It's been the pride of the family and kept exclusively within them, not even hiring staff from outside the family. "Charming" and "beautiful" are synonymous with all the Sakakis... to anyone who knows them only as the dedicated hosts of the teahouse.
The locals that know them on a more personal level all agree something about them is... off. Details don't add up, and despite how long they've lived in the city somehow they've only fallen for, and wed, people from elsewhere who seemingly show up suddenly one day. Plenty of rumors, some more conspiratorial than others, surround them I.E. that they dabble in the occult, that the people who marry in are purchased, or they're connected to underground crime. The reality is just that they're a mess from generational trauma stemming from his great-grandmother.
Yuya was the second-youngest of the family, in training like everyone before him in music, tea making, hosting, everything entirely for running the teahouse. Was, until a year ago when a fire engulfed the Sakaki residence by the border of the forest overnight. The tragedy claimed the lives of everyone except Yuya, who had come out completely unscatched.
It didn't take long for a rumor to circulate that he was the one that did it.
By game start he's 16 and dropped out of school to work full time at the teahouse. He didn't have a lot (if any) friends beforehand, often sequestered to the house or the tearoom for training, and the weird rumors have just make him more distant. But he'll put on a cheerful and friendly face to anyone. It's what he was raised to do.
AU Plans: Yuya's here to be a normal if troubled teenager who's life is going to get very, very weird soon. Other than that I'm winging it. He's a complete AU so there's going to be no regains or weird memories here.
The teahouse will be an accessible spot with 1 new recent hire NPC because Yuya can't do this alone and also so people can be there without Yuya needing to.

He's very emotionally distant and disengaged, to the point where he doesn't recognize the tiny amount of feelings he does experience and can't understand why people get excited over anything at all.
It took him five years to learn how to smile.He's hard to hold a conversation with and doesn't talk a lot. Generally stoic and asocial, he's impolite and snappy sometimes, and kind of quietly recalcitrant. He can be frigid initially, and there won't be much of a quick thaw; a negative cr magnet as far as first impressions go.Plans: None. Winging it like always.

AU Blurb:
"Mike" was born in Vitae to lower-class parents. His mother just up and left when he was four years old, and he grew up with only his father around. Said father, we will call him Brian, worked long shifts at the convenience store and supplemented his income selling marijuana in the parking lot, which he grew at home in plastic buckets. His illegal activities progressed and resulted in several arrests. He was in and out of jail, and during those times, Mike stayed in the assisted living apartments, which irritated him greatly. Thus, he got emancipated at 16 and dropped out of school shortly after. He had a string of odd jobs and very temporary employment where he'd quit the majority of attempts at work once socialising became too much.
He's currently 24, lives in a shitty apartment by the occult shop, and works for a janitorial company. He cleans floors at night for several buildings like the supermarket, business center, the bank, and various stores in the mall. He's rarely seen during the day, usually sleeping or loitering around the downtown area; hangs out in the convenience store parking lot to smoke (cigarettes) sometimes and go through a few scratch offs. He carries around a 35mm camera and takes weird "artistic" photos of shit like sad weeds growing out of the sidewalk, and develops them in his tiny bathroom and never shows them to anyone.
His personality's basically the same, and I guess his hair is brown and not grey now. That's about it.
